I recently shot Kassandra, a local Dallas actress signed with Linda McAlister talent. Kassandra played the lead actress in Lunchbox and Earth Day, both short films. She is currently training with Michele Condrey and taking improvisation classes at the Dallas Comedy House. To view Kassandra’s recent film reel, click here
Q & A
Q: How long have you been acting?
A: I’ve been acting for about 7 years.
Q: Do you have an agent?
A: Yes – The wonderful Linda McAlister Talent!
Q: How did you get started?
A: I always loved getting to play make believe and being characters when I was growing up. I was such a shy kid though that it wasn’t until I was in college that I started taking classes and really submitting for projects. I’m still pretty shy, but acting has helped with that tremendously. It’s always more comfortable for me saying somebody else’s words.
Q: What are you working on right now?
A: I was fortunate enough to have recently been a part of a couple of amazing TV projects. Always working on receiving more wonderful opportunities like these.
Q: What are your acting goals?
A: Acting is very personal for me- it’s almost a form of therapy. Any opportunity is a chance of remembering to live in another world and be a kid again. So as long as I am able to challenge myself and learn and grow, no matter the role or size of the project, I am absolutely grateful.
Q: What is your more interesting actor story?
A: I was accidentally tased on a short film set once. That was fun.
