What is the difference between a corporate headshot and an executive portrait?
A corporate headshot is typically a polished head-and-shoulders portrait designed for professional use on company websites, LinkedIn, directories, and marketing materials. Executive portrait sessions are more extensive and may include headshots along with three-quarter and full-length portraits, seated and standing poses, multiple looks, and different backgrounds or environments. If you need a professional headshot, the Corporate Headshot session is a great fit; if you want a more varied collection of images, an Executive Portrait session may be the better choice.
Can I book a corporate headshot session just for myself?
What should I wear for my headshot?
Choose clothing that feels professional, fits properly, and reflects how you typically present yourself in your industry. Solid colors and well-tailored pieces generally photograph especially well. You’ll receive a detailed wardrobe guide before your session with recommendations on clothing, fit, colors, accessories, and how to prepare.
Can you photograph headshots at our office?
Yes. I can bring a professional headshot setup directly to your office or workplace, making it convenient to photograph your team without requiring employees to travel to a studio. We’ll plan the location, background, lighting, and schedule in advance to keep headshot day organized and efficient.
How much time should we schedule for each person?
For large corporate groups, I typically schedule approximately five minutes per person. This gives me enough time to provide posing and expression guidance while keeping the session moving efficiently. We’ll determine the appropriate schedule during planning based on the size of your team and the type of headshots you need.
What backgrounds are available?
Black, white, gray, and blue are my standard headshot background options, but I can provide virtually any background color to coordinate with your company’s brand or desired look. We can also photograph environmental headshots using your office or workplace as the background for a more natural, location-specific feel.
